Who am I: I'm one of the few Elizabeth's who actually go by Elizabeth. Nicknames are welcome though.
Just turned 20 last Wednesday (got my acceptance call on that day also!!)
I live in Ozark, AR. I only have an accent when I get excited. Good luck understanding me at that point. I have 4 siblings and recently acquired 4 step-siblings, as well.
People know me by my laugh (you'll understand soon). I've transferred colleges 4 times and I'm only a Sophomore. Currently at Arkansas Tech studying Agriculture. I want to be a missionary farmer.
Fun facts: I have dimples on the tops of my cheeks. I wore my chacos all through winter. I play ultimate frisbee every weather-permitting Sunday. I went 7 months last year without shaving my legs. I can't keep my eyes open when I laugh. I love giving blood. I clean houses as a college student profession. I haven't owned a hair brush since Junior High. Not a huge fan of mexican food.
"Experience": I spent my high school Spring Breaks in Dallas, TX working alongside the YWAM there. (If you're ever in that area, the homeless church is incredible. By far #1 in my Top 3 favorite churches I've been to.
Guatemala: I am most most MOST nervous about the plane ride. I might faint. Or throw up. Or both. Super stoked to be immersed in a different culture for the first time. And I'm ready to hear us all speak Spanish. Things are going to get hilarious. It's funny how God uses our past experiences to prep us for what we never knew we'd be doing. He's saying, "Look, Elizabeth, how all is used for the good of the Kingdom when you finally give it to me." He has equipped me using my own weaknesses-- turning them into strengths!
